Queer Themed Silent Movies at Tinker Street Cinema
Step back in time and experience two groundbreaking queer-themed silent films on the big screen. First, Salomè — a lush, art-deco fever dream starring and produced by Alla Nazimova, an openly bisexual Hollywood trailblazer who filled her cast with LGBTQ+ actors as a tribute to Oscar Wilde. Then, The Passion of Joan of Arc — a visually stunning masterpiece whose themes of gender nonconformity, identity, and resilience have long resonated with queer audiences.
